During her 30 year career, Catherine has been privileged to remain a classroom practitioner while also being involved in writing and presenting, supporting a group of schools in Uganda in developing their practice and working with both geography subject associations on a range of projects. Jen is currently head of geography at a school in the north-west of England but has previously been a lead practitioner for humanities. In 2019 she won the Royal Geographical Society award for Excellence in Geography Teaching. She is passionate about supporting others, which led to the co-creation of @GeogChat.
