Examples of innovation in HMC schools 

Only by being innovative and creative can schools withstand a seemingly endless flow of government reforms which risk stifling the education system. By continuing to set their own priorities, excelling in the things which they, rather than politicians, feel are important, schools can continue to provide the best possible educational opportunities for children in their care.

Although the competitive nature of independent education has always encouraged innovation, there has never been a greater need to share ideas. The 15 case studies in this book, covering diverse aspects of education, were chosen from well over 100 initial proposals from HMC schools, and they provide a reminder of just how much good and exciting work is going on.
